EKAPARTNERS ADVISED PERSEUS ON A €93M FINANCING

EKAPARTNERS reinforces its track record in the luxury and hospitality spaces and is proud to announce it has acted as financial advisor to Perseus Group on the completion of secured senior and mezzanine facilities totalling €93m from Cheyne Capital (UK).

Perseus is a hotel developer, owner, and operator. It was founded by Valéry Grégo, the hotelier behind the creation of the “Hôtels d’en Haut” portfolio (operating under the brand Beaumier since 2020) which notably includes the Hôtel Les Roches Rouges in Saint Raphael, South of France. Since 2011, it has aspired to revisit the standards of the lifestyle hospitality sector. It is currently building a collection of luxury hotels highlighting what makes Europe unique – its culture and history, the diversity of its natural landscapes and cities, and its rich variety of experience and people, with a landmark project in Nice as the first piece of the puzzle and more projects into Europe, focusing on exclusive and strategic destinations, capital or getaway cities.

The financing has enabled the successful exit of Perseus’s long-term investor, Platina, which has been supporting Perseus since 2011. Valéry Grégo, Perseus’s founder and CEO, becomes the majority shareholder.
